Student Trainee - Hydrologist

As a Student Trainee (Hydrologist), you will perform the following duties:

  • Receive on-the-job and formal training to provide experience in the familiarization with National Weather Service programs, policies, and procedures, specifically at a River Forecast Center; and an opportunity to perform progressively more responsible assignments as experience is gained.

This position is located at the Arkansas-Red Basin River Forecast Center in Tulsa, OK.  This is a great opportunity to determine if the NWS and River Forecast Center is the place you would like to work.  River Forecast Centers work closely with other NWS offices and government partners to provide hydrologic forecasts and services to the country.
