This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected).

Duties

You will:

• Analyze and summarize a variety of environmental program data for use in preparing reports and program evaluations.
• Compile and evaluate available background information, data from previous studies, and gather new and additional data from a variety of sources.
• Perform administrative studies of a standard nature on regulatory and compliance issues and problems, including analyzing data, making queries of automated systems, developing reports.
• Prepare initial recommendations for solutions to be reviewed by higher graded staff. Supports higher-graded staff in planning for program management of environmental programs.
• Assist staff in preparation of materials for, and participation in, briefings with managers. Review literature for assessment and information gathering.
