Retirement Operations Intern (June 2025)

The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on a Retirement Operations Intern to join our 2025 summer cohort.

This position will provide an excellent opportunity to gain real world operations experience in the insurance and financial services industry. In this role, you will use your attention to detail and analytical skills to review and analyze performance metrics within the Retirement call center and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies. You will gain knowledge and insight into operations while working cross functionally with teams such as workforce management.

 

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

  • College rising sophomore or junior
  • Must have availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between the dates of June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Effective networking skills
  • Ability to deal with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice-to-haves: 

  • Demonstrates solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers, etc.)
  • Sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
