Marketing Coordinator
SLM Media Group, publisher of a suite of newsletters, podcasts, St. Louis Magazine, stlmag.com, and events, is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team. We are the only region-wide locally owned-and-operated media company in the area.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a problem solver, and be ready to handle multiple projects at once. The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Client Success Manager. This is an entry-level position.

In this role, you’ll
- Collect and organize all advertising materials for all advertising orders, including print ads, email newsletters, podcasts, and event sponsorships
- Assist with newsletter production, including preparing advertising placements
- Assist with website publishing, including loading sponsored stories onto website and updating existing content to follow SEO guidelines
- Assist with lead generation and content marketing efforts to drive qualified leads for the business development team
- Assist with social media execution for advertising and marketing efforts, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Assist with building landing pages, setting up parameters, and managing prize fulfillment for promotions, such as contests, giveaways, or events
- Provide marketing support for key strategic initiatives, such as branded content, A-List, events, promotions and interactive quizzes
- Conduct research to assist in marketing efforts, such as maintaining email list for A-List campaigns
- Conduct CRM maintenance on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy
- Assist with client billing
- Additional duties as assigned
You'll bring:
- A high level of digital savviness to quickly learn tools, including Google Business Suite, including Mail, Calendar, Sheets, Slides, and Docs; Canva, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Zoom, Upland Second Street
- Adeptness at balancing fun and professionalism, creativity and focus
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to organize and manage projects effectively and efficiently
- A self-starter mentality with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
