Citizens BankHER Summit: Women in Investment Banking

Summit Overview 

The Citizens BankHER Summit: Women in Investment Banking is a robust program that will give students an insight into a career in investment banking through personal connectivity and exploration. Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory (CM&A) bankers and industry professionals will lead discussions focused on challenges and opportunities women face in the banking world. Participation in the two-day summit will include conversations around industry knowledge, professional development, career opportunities and insights on navigating the investment banking environment as a woman. 

In addition, participants will learn about our 2026 CM&A summer analyst program, application timeline and may be selected to participate in the recruiting process on an accelerated timeline. After completing the summit, students may also have the opportunity to be paired with a mentor within Citizens CM&A.

Though the focus of the Citizens BankHER Summit is women in investment banking, Citizens welcomes all students to apply and dip their feet into the world of banking. 

Summit Details: 

  • Dates: March 6 – 7, 2025
  • Location: Charlotte, NC
  • All travel (airfare, train, etc.) and accommodations (hotel) will be provided by Citizens.
    • Additional expenses may be incurred but will be reimbursed by Citizens.
  • Summit content will include investment banking training, mock interviews, networking opportunities, junior banker panels, guest speakers and more!

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current students enrolled in an undergraduate program, graduating between Winter 2026 – Spring 2027
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2; Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.5
  • Relevant work experience, leadership experience or coursework in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred but all majors will be considered. 
  • Strong analytical skills and software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency is required.
  • Candidates must currently be a U.S. Resident to be eligible for this program.
    • Please note that U.S. Immigration sponsorship or work visa is not available for intern / full time Analyst positions and candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S
