Technology Instructor Internship
AccelerateKID® is seeking new team members to join our growing organization to help create future creators in K-12 kids. Our goal is to offer a great working experience during a 3-month paid internship with competitive pay. Afterward, there is potential for part or full-time opportunities. Our goal is to find interns that love working with our youth to teach about entrepreneurship and latest technology including computer science, game design, robotics and digital arts. In addition, you could mentor students and prepare for seasonal camps. You'll get dedicated training with job shadowing to prepare our youth with technology education and 21st century skills. Technology Instructor Internship:
- Can teach one or more computer programming languages including Scratch, Javascript, Python and/or Java.
- Can teach one or more robotics and game design programs including LEGO EV3, Unity, Minecraft, Roblox and/or Fortnite.
- Can teach one or more digital arts track including TinkerCAD 3D Printing, Wix Web Design, Scribblitt Digital Books and/or Video Production using YouTube.
- Must enjoy teaching and interacting with K-12 youth.
- Must have customer service experience to communicate with parents.
- Need to have good communication skills to collaborate with team members.
- Can manage classes, camps and clubs during in-person and virtual programs.
- Must have reliable transportation to work at onsite and off-site at customer facility.
- Must be willing to work weeknights and possibly weekends.
- Must be friendly, enjoys kids and love technology.
