Job description
The Dermot Company, a New York and Florida based real estate developer and operator, is seeking a summer intern to join our team! The intern will gain experience in acquisition and asset management work.
This internship is ideal for a third-year undergrad studying finance, real estate, or investments. The summer will offer exposure to the real estate investment life cycle, including aspects of property acquisitions, and property management.

- Analyzing financials
- Participating in due diligence related to asset management and acquisition
- Supporting project initiatives, working alongside the investment team
- Financial modeling (if you don’t appreciate spreadsheets… not sure this is for you)
- Making connections between historical data and our business today
- Putting together reports and presentations
ABOUT YOU AND WHAT YOU OFFER
- You are a third year undergrad preferably working toward a degree in Real Estate, Investments or Finance with a strong GPA
- Genuine interest in the operations of multi-family real estate, both the investment and asset management aspects of the business
- Prior internship experience demonstrating a successful track record of project management and ownership in a related space
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed
- Highly driven, organized and detail-oriented with an ability to navigate strategically
- Strong work ethic, integrity and commitment to meet deadlines

ABOUT INTERNSHIP PAY
This internship offers a gross hourly rate of $20-30/hr for time worked.
