Appraisal Associate

Appraiser Trainee 

Position Summary: Cornerstone Appraisal is seeking a detail-oriented individual interested in working at an agricultural/commercial appraisal firm. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in agriculture and/or real estate, but training will be provided. This position requires a good work ethic, the ability to work either indoors in an office environment or outdoors.

Responsibilities 

• Assisting with the preparation of agricultural or commercial real estate appraisals
• Collecting and analyzing comparable sales data

Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn and grow in the real estate appraisal field
• Experience in economics and real estate terms preferred, but not required
• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, dedicated, and have the ability to multi-task and complete quality work under deadlines
• Ability to effectively use computers and a calculator
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Strong math skills

Work Environment

Work hours are split approximately 80% in the office and 20% in the field. Field work may involve work in mild to moderate inclement weather conditions. Offices are located in both Kewaunee and Oshkosh, and this position would be out of our Oshkosh office.

• Full time position of 40 hours per week with flexible hours
  • willing to hire part time until candidate graduates or has the ability to work full time
