Live Performance Musician Internship

Live Performance Musician Opportunity in Morristown, NJ

Every Sunday, you will have the chance to perform live in Morristown, NJ, embracing a background in a variety of music genres such as R&B, Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Country, Reggae, and Reggaeton. You will rehearse weekly in Morristown. This role offers an invaluable opportunity to refine your craft, learn upbeat and worship songs, and create harmonious, spirited performances. As part of a worship service, you will perform live on Sundays at 10:00 am, in Morristown, NJ, with the Praise & Worship Team, to be streamed simultaneously on Zoom, YouTube and Facebook. Remember, while perfection isn't the goal, passion and a willingness to learn are essential.

Virtual Instrument Instruction

Provide virtual music instruction to children in 3rd through 12th grades throughout the U.S. This aspect of the internship allows you to impact young learners' lives, fostering their musical growth.

We are seeking skilled musicians from across the United States to join our team as virtual instructors. This opportunity involves teaching novice, intermediate, and advanced students in your chosen musical instrument. The online platform Microsoft Teams will be utilized to create and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aimed at cultivating students' musical skills. Candidates must possess exceptional patience and the capability to work with children of all ages, fostering a passion for music that translates into practical skills like note reading, understanding various sounds and tones, building discipline, and enhancing overall musicianship. Your dedication and enthusiasm for music will be pivotal in inspiring your students. Instructors will conduct lessons in a classroom-style setting, accommodating no more than six students over a 90-minute session, held twice a week.

There are no specific appearance requirements, allowing you to teach in a comfortable environment. While this is an unpaid internship, instructors have the option to display a QR code during sessions to accept voluntary donations. We are currently seeking instructors for the following instruments:

- Acoustic Guitar

- Clarinet

- Drums

- Flute

- Keyboard

- Saxophone

- Voice

- Violin

Due to the performance nature in a Pentecostal Church, we require interns to uphold our appearance guidelines:
