We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and administrative support. As an HR Intern, you will assist the HR team in day-to-day operations and contribute to enhancing HR processes and initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support:
    • Assist in posting job openings on job boards and social media platforms.
    • Help with onboarding new hires, including preparing documents.
  • Employee Record Maintenance:
    • Assist in updating and maintaining employee records in HR software.
    • Ensure compliance with internal documentation procedures and confidentiality protocols.
    • File HR related paperwork in employee files.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
    • Provide general administrative support for HR initiatives.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration:
    • Maintain payroll administration in the E-time and ADP systems. (i.e. adding punches, adding hours, adding PTO, adjusting schedules, etc.) 
    • Assist with preparing and organizing payroll documentation for processing.
  • General HR Administrative Tasks:
    • Handle incoming HR-related queries from employees and assist with problem resolution.
    • Maintain birthday card, flowers and baby & newlywed program.
    • Provide clerical support for HR-related documentation, meetings, and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in human resources and organizational development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an HR department or internship is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) is an advantage.
