Detailed Job Description:

Safari Belting Systems seeks a motivated Mechanical Engineering or Plastics Engineering student for a full-time internship. This role is designed as a precursor to a full-time Mechanical/Plastics Engineer position, providing hands-on experience and a foundation in industrial product design and manufacturing.

· Skills and Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Plastics Engineering. Basic knowledge of and interest in CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. An innovative and problem-solving mindset with a strong desire to learn.

· Responsibilities: Collaborate with our engineering team to create 3D models of parts and 2D fabrication drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Assist in the development of 3D-printed prototypes for testing and validation. Learn and apply design principles and best practices under the guidance of experienced engineers.
