Junior Tax Associate

Our client who is one of the top 20 professional services accounting firm is looking for 5 eager Jr. Accountants to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a great entry level position for a recent graduate looking to get into the public accounting space. 

This position runs from January 20 to April 16 with possibility of extension.                                                                                             

Responsibilities

·       Taking and validating tax information from corporate and individual clients, with a focus on details and following established procedures.

·       Cross-check the data ingested into the system against source documents for any discrepancies, errors, or redundancies. 

·       Extensive training will be provided on our proprietary tax software as well as on familiarizing tax forms 1040/1041, K1, LT-204-LL.

Qualifications

·       College degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or business-related field.

·       Less than a year or two of prior work experience in a corporate environment desired.

·       Display basic business etiquette.

·       Willingness to learn new aspects of public accounting, business services, and tax.

·       Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to navigate and learn new software.
