Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students with physical, mental, and developmental challenges.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address students' needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Recommend assistive technology, equipment, and accommodations for students.
• Provide training and support to staff and families on managing disabilities and enhancing students' daily function.
• Keep detailed records of therapy sessions, goals, and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License in Illinois required.
• Prior experience in school-based therapy or pediatric care is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster collaboration.
• Compassionate and patient, with the ability to manage diverse needs with empathy and professionalism.
