Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders.
  • Assess students’ speech and language abilities, creating individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' progress and development.
  • Work on developing students' language, articulation, fluency, and social communication skills.
  • Document and report on students' progress, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and outcomes.
  • Provide education and strategies for staff and parents to support students’ communication needs in the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required.
  • Previous experience working with students or pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language therapy techniques, strategies, and assessments.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff.
  • Passion for helping students improve their communication skills and succeed academically.
