Job description
Permontes Group is currently seeking highly motivated Civil Engineer interns to join our group in the Summer of 2025!
At Permontes Group, we are passionate about building mentoring relationships! As an intern at Permontes, you will be provided with unique challenges that will help further you in your engineering degree program. You will learn engineering consulting and land development industry skills. Some of the areas you will gain experience in:
- Site design
- Stormwater management calculations
- Assist in developing cost estimates
- Entitlement coordination
- Permit coordination
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Utility design
- Grading
- Drainage
- Project scheduling
- On-site visits to gather design data
- General civil engineering practices while learning from various staff members.
- Attend team coordination and planning meetings
- Learn how to prioritize your workload and responsibilities
Necessary Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program - Junior and Senior preferred
- Must possess enhanced desire to learn
- Embraces constructive criticism and uses it as motivation to learn and excel in technical skills
- Must demonstrate a collaborative team approach and have the ability to work as a cohesive team member
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
- Previous software experience in Adobe Acrobat or AcroPlot Pro PDF editing software is a plus!
- Working software knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus!
- Self-driven time management and organizational skills

- $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
