Position Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing strategies that drive growth, increase brand awareness, and ensure alignment with Green Dot’s mission and goals. As the Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our customer experience and digital presence while collaborating with cross-functional teams to amplify our success.

Responsibilities

As the Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising strategies.
  • Content Creation and Management: Oversee the development of engaging content, including blog posts, social media updates, video content, and promotional materials.
  • Oversee Digital Marketing Efforts: Collaborate with a national digital marketing agency to ensure alignment with Green Dot’s goals, monitor campaign progress, and provide feedback for optimization. Act as the primary liaison to guide SEO, PPC, and other digital initiatives.
  • Social Media Oversight: Manage the company's social media platforms, ensuring consistent branding and engagement with current and potential clients.
  • SEO and Website Management: Enhance and optimize the company website and digital platforms to increase online visibility and lead generation, in partnership with external and internal teams.
  • Analyze Marketing Performance: Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies to meet KPIs.
  • Coordinate Promotions and Events: Organize and manage special promotions, community engagement initiatives, and events that align with the brand’s mission.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with the sales, operations, and leadership teams to ensure marketing efforts align with business goals.
  • Budget Management: Maintain and report on the marketing budget to ensure cost-effective campaigns.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain clear communication and strong relationships with external vendors, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in marketing, preferably in a service-based industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, SEO, and social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms such as Canva, Google Analytics, and social media management tools.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative campaigns.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.

Compensation

  • Base Salary + Bonus Plan: $45,000–$75,000 during the first year.
