Music Business Management/ Accounting Internship

Internship Description
The Nordlinger Group is seeking internship applicants with immediate availability part time (flexible) for the winter and spring. Interns can expect to get a bird’s-eye view of the business & accounting side of the entertainment industry, specifically the music business.
We're seeking a detail-oriented, problem solver for an in-person, paid internship position to assist Managers with day-to-day activities including but not limited to:
Daily bookkeeping, Accounts receivable & payable, Account reconciliations, Wire transfers,
Creating financial reports, Payroll processing, Income tracking, Royalty reporting, Commissions reporting, Tax preparation, & Office management
There are also special projects that are client-specific that will pop up occasionally.


Qualifications
Looking for Seniors or Masters students with a focus in business, finance, accounting, music or related programs
A love of music
Proficient with Excel, Excellent communication & analytical skills, Positive attitude with an
eagerness to learn
Desired– Drive, Confidence, Resiliency
15-20 hours per week in-office availability (Columbus Circle, NYC)
