Life Cycle Management Intern
Scope:
The Summer Intern program provides college students with the opportunity to participate in meaningful projects that contribute to the overall business unit objectives. In addition to the assigned projects, Interns are given the opportunity to participate in activities that encourage networking with peers, managers, and employees.
Job Summary:
The purpose of this job is to, under supervision, plan, monitor and report on Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects using the LCM process and tool. The person in this role will interact with many functions across the business. Support of additional projects are also in scope, pending business needs and priorities.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
• Identify project actions, risks, issues and resolutions and reports these to the LCM Project Lead. Monitors the progress of critical path item(s) to drive transparency, accountability, and decision-making.
• Collect status updates, monitor progress, and develop status reports. Reports are to be delivered within project teams as well as to business leaders as needed.
• Coordinate meetings, monitor resources and identify resource constraints, including people and equipment.
• Deliver clear, concise, informative, well-organized project updates and presentations.
• Use change management to manage scope changes and timeline revisions; track and manage decisions.
• Identify and communicate risks / challenges and escalate according to a defined structure and process.
• Conduct / facilitate training on the LCM process to project team members and stakeholders.
• Identify / develop alternative project management methodology / tools that may improve project success as a standard to be adopted across all projects.
• As business needs dictate, may work extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Intermediate skill in the use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred.
• Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set.
• Ability to read and understand highly technical material.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with diverse populations.
• Professional demeanor.
Work Environment:
• Professional office setting
• Willing to report to work in the Victor, NY office.
• This is a paid internship.
• Prolonged sitting in front of a computer
Experience:
• Not required, but prior Internship experience is a plus.
Education:
• Current college student, majoring in business, administration, computer science, engineering, or other field; senior year, or graduate.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $21.00 and $23.00 per hour and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
