Social Media & Communications Intern

Join First State Educate (FSE) as a Social Media & Communications Intern!

First State Educate (FSE) is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media & Communications Intern to help us amplify our mission to strengthen school board engagement and improve student outcomes in Delaware. What You'll Do

As our Social Media & Communications Intern, you will:

  • Develop and Execute Strategy: Create and implement a monthly social media calendar and strategy to drive engagement and traffic.
  • Content Creation: Design messaging for flyers, one-pagers, newsletters, social media posts, and podcasts to promote FSE’s events and campaigns.
  • Engage and Grow FSE's Audience: Leverage social media best practices to attract parents, community members, board members, potential candidates, sponsors, and others to FSE’s mission.
  • Optimize Engagement: Craft content that converts website visitors into members, using optimized landing pages, email workflows, and peer-to-peer recruitment campaigns.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work with FSE to integrate content into templates and track performance using tools like AirTable, while bringing fresh ideas to disseminate FSE's message.
  • Support Podcast Development: Assist in producing and promoting FSE's podcast, creating a platform for leadership and educational insights.
