Medical Assistant Instructor (PT)
We are seeking a Part-time instructor to teach clinical skills for the Medical Assistant Program.
This is part time, hourly, position.
Example of Duties:
- Provide instruction and supervision in clinical skills for medical assistant students in the lab setting
- Assist with maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant with National certification in Medical Assisting, minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant and an Associate's degree required; Registered Nurse preferred.
- Master's Degree in Health Care field preferred
- College-level teaching experience preferred, community college preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations preferred
Supplemental information
Program courses run in Fall and Spring semesters.
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
Compensation: The hourly pay for this position is $50.
