Job Description
Dura-Line is hiring for a Plant Trainer to join our manufacturing plant in Gainesville, TX to help oversee the production of high-quality products within the department. You will help deliver, facilitate, evaluate, document and monitor learning activities at the plant level. Also Lead, mentor, support and provide the necessary training and tools to educate employees on processes and behaviors for the new growth and plant support.

What will help you be successful in this role?
- 2+ years’ experience in Education/trainer/instructor or related field in manufacturing, automotive, industrial, production, assembly, plastics environment
- High School diploma or GED required, plus TWI, Formal Training Certification, or relevant experience and certifications from formal program (example – Certified Training and Development Professional).
- Plastic extrusion experience with knowledge of packaging product on a reel as well as with an inline saw cutting sticks.
- Advanced knowledge of videography software comparable or equivalent to Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender, Photoshop, PowerPoint, AI technology (Polycam and Morphai), Dynamics 365.
- Proficient at writing detailed work instructions for training of new employees
- Experience with crating training, Technical writing and instructional design for manufacturing hourly roles
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- ISO 9000 or TL9000 experience/knowledge
- Worked with external auditors and participated in audits, gather data and had the proper files & documentation needed to pass the audit
- Experience creating single point lesson, small work instructions, video training or presentations, data management, etc.
- Computer savvy in, SharePoint, e-learning, training management system (LMS), QT9 system, MS Teams etc.,
- Hands on experience in test and review created materials for enhanced training and development.

- Starting Pay : $28.00 per hour
- Day Shift Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The compensation for this position will typically start at $28.00 an hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
