The FORTNA Leadership and Development Rotation (LADR) Program is a 1-year, rotational program committed to the accelerated development of entry-level Professional Services and Engineering talent with a passion for technology, automation, and professional services coupled with a drive for exceptional client service. Through intense training and a variety of business-critical assignments, technical and business skills are developed. LADR graduates have the technical and business foundation to make innovative contributions that help our clients be successful in a dynamic world. The program consists of the following tracks: Project Management, Consulting, Engineering, Electrical Controls Engineering, Client Support, Maintenance and Software Development. Program members are full-time Fortna Associates and work in rotational assignments to accelerate their development and assimilation into the business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
LADR program members at FORTNA experience technically challenging rotations that are driven by opportunities to solve our clients’ toughest distribution problems.
Software Development Rotation
Designing and developing the Fortna Warehouse Execution System (WES)
Work with Architects, Engineer Leads and QA team to implement software solutions
Implement user stories and resolve bugs utilizing JIRA task management
Handle both product and project tasks
Develop and maintain unit tests (Junit and Mockito)
Write and maintain code within IntelliJ IDE
Utilize Git Hub as code repository
Deploy and own build environments for specific services/projects
Software QA Rotation
Own the internal testing and validation of WES user stories and bugs
Collaborate with clients to demonstrate service functionality for integration testing
Collaborate with other development teams to ensure service integration for each version release
Handle and maintain mock services to enable full-stack testing
Create and maintain test scripts
Deploy and own build environments for specific services/projects
Software Onsite Commissioning and Testing Rotation
Traveling to Client sites to assist the software services implementation engineers in qualifying the WES installation on-site.
Execute onsite tests scripts and physical testing routines
Report bugs back to development teams and help with the creation of documentation to recreate and current resolution steps
Strong Java experience and good communication skills wanted
