Intern, Global Clinical Supply Chain

This position is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2025. Resume review begins in January 2025. 

Biogen develops medicines for debilitating medical conditions with the goal of making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives​. The Global Clinical Supply Chain Team plays an integral role in helping patients gain access to best-in-class medicines.  

Position Description 

As an intern in the Global Clinical Supply Chain Team, you will be exposed to a variety of operations and get a firsthand view of what it takes to manufacture and deliver the best therapies to patients worldwide. As part of this internship, you will be required to: 

  • Revamp and re-organize our existing knowledge management platform by developing a robust end user strategy for the existing system and working across the team and cross functionally to enable access to data and information easier and effective.
  • Analyze existing inventory reconciliation practices for Drug Product and Finished Good Inventory within Biogen’s Oracle ERP System and lead an effort to reconcile and accurately document inventory quantities.
  • Work on day-to-day Clinical Site Support queries by helping the team action on critical tickets and be part of the issue resolution process.
  • Participate and assist project leads in projects part of the Global Clinical Supply Chain Roadmap.
  • Assist in developing and preparing metrics, dashboards and KPI reporting for the team.

  • Driven and motivated to learn and contribute to the team.
  • Good attention to detail, ability to analyze complex data sets and present crisp and concise updates.
  • Able and willing to participate in team cultural initiatives.

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: 

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college or university with a graduation date no earlier than August 2025.

Education 

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an Arts, Science or Management field with at least one year of completed at the time of starting internship.

Location 

  • This role is hybrid in Cambridge, MA.
