Summer 2025 Human Resources Information Systems Intern
Position Summary:
The Summer 2025 Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Intern with Gypsum Management and Supply, Inc. (GMS) will support the daily operations of the HRIS department. Throughout the summer internship, the HRIS Intern will assist the HRIS team with a variety of projects related to Dayforce, Kronos, and Acquisitions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supporting software related to Human Resources.
- Establishing and refining requirements for software application.
- Monitoring support inboxes.
- Assisting in creating and updating training materials.
- Executing testing for software patches and upgrades/updates.
- Providing HRIS support to other business areas.
- Responsible for supporting HR processes.
- Supporting the maintenance of accurate global partner data.
- Working cross-functionally within HR and with other areas of the business.
- Presenting HR-related information in a meaningful format.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Technology or related fields; rising Junior or Senior preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a bias towards simple solutions
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter, ability to work independently
- Fast-paced, detail oriented, and excellent organizational skills; accuracy is essential
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.
- Will occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.
- Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
- Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Constantly working in an office environment.
