THE CITY OF LEAWOOD, KANSAS is looking for an  

Assistant Dive Coach

Are you ideal for working as an Assistant Dive Coach at the Leawood Aquatic?

  • Are you 17 years of age OR older?
  • Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills?
  • Are you reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment?
  • Are you ready to make some extra money for the summer?
  • Do you have competitive diving experience?

As the Assistant Dive Coach, you will work:

  • Approximately 30 - 35 hours per week between 7 am and 12 pm.
  • There will be some evening meets and one weekend meet.
  • Dive practices and meets will occur at the Leawood Aquatic Center and surrounding Johnson County pools.
  • The Pool Season runs from May to September.

A few of the things you will be doing include:

  • Assisting the head dive coach with daily activities for the dive team.
  • Attending all scheduled practices and meets.
  • Having to make decisions regarding inclement weather and informing participants and parents about delays or cancellations.
  • Representing the City and swim team at meetings and special functions.
