Duties
You will perform a wide variety of biological science support tasks related to wildlife surveys, wildlife capture and handling, vegetation/habitat surveys, invasive species management and removal, water quality monitoring and other general natural resource management activities.
Some of the duties you will perform include, but are not limited to:
- Implement established natural resource projects.
- Collect, enter, and organize field data, including use of ArcGIS. Ensures quality control of data.
- Perform routine and recurring testing of collected samples.
- Make field observations of natural resource conditions.
- Evaluate observed conditions and problems and makes preliminary determination of the cause.
- Assist in preparation of reports, plans and guidelines.
- Draft project reports and prepares map, graphs and/or charts and summaries of findings.
- Provide logical support and area information.
