THE CITY OF LEAWOOD, KANSAS is looking for a
Head Pool Manager
Are you ideal for working as a Head Pool Manager at the Leawood Aquatic?
- Do you have a high school diploma or equivalent?
- Are you 18 years of age OR older?
- Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills?
- Are you reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment?
- Are you ready to make some extra money for the summer?
- Do you have cash-handling experience?
- Do you have experience in managing employees?
- What about managing employees at a pool or aquatic facility?
As the Head Pool Manager, you will work:
- Approximately 30 hours per week between 7 am and 10 pm.
- Weekdays, nights, weekends, and one to two holidays.
- The Pool Season runs from May to September.
A few of the things you will be doing include:
- Scheduling various aquatic staff shifts to ensure the pool is staffed and running smoothly.
- Ensuring aquatic staff complete their required responsibilities.
- Assisting cashiers with processing pool admissions, season passes, concessions sales, and end-of-day procedures.
- Testing water and chemical levels, adding chemicals to the pool and maintaining necessary records.
- Ensuring the aquatic center remains clean and clear of trash and debris.
