School District of Onalaska

The School District of Onalaska is a 4K-12 district serving 2,906 students; six offsite 4K partners, three elementary 4K-5 schools, a 6-8 middle school and a 9-12 high school. Twenty percent of the district’s total enrollment are open-enrolled students who are students residing in neighboring districts who elected to attend a school within the School District of Onalaska. The district has a supportive Board of Education and dedicated staff including 13 administrators, 246 teachers and 167 support staff. The annual operating budget exceeds $52.6 million      

 The Board of Education adopted a Strategic Plan in 2022 around the four pillar areas of:

3) Staff Recruitment, Development and Retention

4) Finance, Facilities, and Operations Stewardship
