Work-Study Student Program Assistant
Assist staff with office support, program coordination, outreach activities, and record management. Conduct related research as needed. Office support may include answering phones, operating the front desk, data entry, photocopying/scanning, filing, and other duties as assigned. Program coordination may include room set up and clean up, flyer design, signage, photography, and other tasks. Outreach activities may involve contacting other departments and organizations at UCI for possible workshops and/or collaborations, tabling (boothing), representing DEOC at campus events. Record management may include copying, scanning, filing, labeling, office supplies inventory, and mail distribution.

Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and ensure accuracy.
- Excellent note taking and typing skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Sensitivity and commitment to diversity.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Reliable, organized, highly detail-oriented, diligent, and creative.
- Must be available to work min. 10 hours/week during business hours (8:00 am- 5:00 pm) Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
- Must have a work-study award.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or PDF making and editing software.
- Second language is a plus.
- Excellent time management and project management skills.
