Alumni-in-Residence: Sign Up for Office Hours with Jenna Collins '08
The Loeb Center's Alumni-in-Residence program is excited to offer 20-minute, 1-on-1, in-person, informational office hour appointments with Jenna Collins '08.
Alumni-in-Residence guest Jenna Collins '08 has extensive expertise in subsidized housing and has focused her advocacy and policy work on the intersection of housing and domestic and sexual violence, as well as on housing and racial justice. Those who aspire to map out a livable and fulfilling career in public interest law – and/or students who aspire to drive positive, tangible solutions at the grassroots and policy-making levels, particularly towards urban housing, food, healthcare, and environmental crises -- will especially benefit from a conversation with Jenna.
As Director of Supervision and Professional Development at Community Legal Services and an attorney in CLS's housing unit, Jenna oversees and ensures all staff have access to excellent supervision and the training necessary to provide high quality representation and advocacy for CLS and its client population. Prior to her current role, Jenna was a supervising attorney in Community Legal Services’ housing unit, as well as a member of the energy unit, working on Pennsylvania utility policy and providing direct representation on utility issues.
Earlier in her career, Jenna spent five years at the AIDS Law Project of PA as their housing attorney; was a visiting professor in Drexel’s Community Lawyering Clinic; and also served as a Harvard Fellow within Community Legal Services’ housing unit. Jenna received her J.D. from Harvard University Law School, and her BA with honors from Amherst College.
