Associate Admissions Counselor

Job Summary:  

The Associate Admissions Counselor will assist the Director of Admissions in recruiting and enrolling students for St. John’s Northwestern Academies. This role includes fostering relationships with prospective students and their families, conducting campus tours, and supporting various aspects of the admissions process.

Bilingual PREFFERED. 

Key Responsibilities:  

 

Recruitment:  

- Assist in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified students.  

- Conduct outreach to prospective students and families through email, phone calls, social media, and other communication channels.  

- Represent the school at college fairs, open houses, and other recruitment events.  

- Schedule and lead campus tours for prospective students and their families.  

 

Admissions Process:  

- Review and evaluate student applications and supporting documents.  

- Assist in admissions committee meetings and decision-making processes.  

- Communicate admissions decisions and provide necessary information to applicants and their families.  

 

Student and Family Relations:  

- Build and maintain positive, lasting relationships with prospective students and their families.  

- Provide detailed information on academic programs, extracurricular activities, and student life at the school.  

- Respond to inquiries and address concerns from prospective students and families in a timely and professional manner.  

 

Data Management:  

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective students and their families.  

- Prepare reports and analyses related to recruitment and admissions as needed.  

Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as required to support the overall goals and objectives of the department.

Qualifications:  

- Education: Bachelor's degree required (Associate’s degree may be considered with relevant experience).  

- Bilingual in Portuguese, Spanish, or Korean is preferred. 

Skills: 

  - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  

  - Excellent organizational and time management abilities.  

  - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

Experience:  

  - Familiarity with admissions processes and best practices is preferred.  

  - Experience in customer service, sales, or related fields is advantageous.
