Elementary Reading Tutor

Streetsboro City Schools is looking for an Elementary Reading Tutor for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year. Students will be working in small groups with students, with a goal of increasing essential components found in the Science of Reading, including Phonemic Awareness, Phonics Skills, Vocabulary, Fluency, and Comprehension. Those with a background in SOR will be considered preferred candidates. Additionally, a valid Ohio teaching license is required.

This position is an hourly position, paying $22/hour, for 29.5 hours per week. Please note there are no benefits with this position, however this is a great entry point into full time work with the district, as we have hired many tutors in the past into full time positions.
