Outside Business Development Representative

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team in our St. Louis City or Maryland Heights territory. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in generating new business for our staffing services. 

We will train you to do this job and how to be the best B2B business development rep you can be, achieving your financial goals for you and your family -- no prior sales experience is preferred -- all you must have is a tenacious drive to succeed at all costs, despite rejection and obstacles put in your path daily; great organizational skills; a passion to meet new people all day everyday in St. Louis; and relentless positivity. 

Compensation and Benefits: 

45k-48k base depending on experience + unlimited commission (reps in their first year can expect to earn up to 65k or more)

Job Responsibilities: 

Develop and maintain a robust pipeline by speaking with over 100 different companies face-to-face weekly in St. Louis 

Identify and qualify high-potential business opportunities 

Schedule appointments over the phone with business leaders to learn about their pain points and hiring needs 

Present solutions and differentiate our services in creative and compelling ways 

Build value while negotiating pricing, terms, and other service requirements 

Follow up with clients through service visits, business reviews, and forecasting meetings 

Represent Express at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings 

Job Requirements: 

Work full-time hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday 

Reliable car to use for driving daily in your territory 

Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people
