
Case Manager
Busy plaintiff litigation firm seeking long-term case managers to provide client support, case management, and assistance to litigation secretaries and supervising attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Open files for new clients: Compile sign up documents, create online files, initiate communication with insurance companies, initiate communication and a relationship with the client
- Case management: Supervise client's medical treatment, keep medical records and bills up to date, assist with and arrange doctor's appointments as needed, maintain constant communication with client
- Discovery: Ensure deadlines are met, meet with client to complete discovery, obtain pre-accident medical records, draft discovery responses for litigation assistant to finalize
- Create deposition binders for supervising attorney: Compile all investigation materials and medical records and bills to create complete files for supervising attorney to review
- Demands: Draft and send out demand letters for supervising attorney
- Brief writing: Draft mediation and CMADRESS briefs, compile brief exhibits
- Litigation Assisting: Assist litigation secretaries as needed
Qualifications
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Adobe, and working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to thrive working on your own and being part of a team
- Available for long term employment
- Punctual and reliable
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Medical or legal office experience a plus
