Leasing Agent
JBMP is looking to expand the leasing team and is looking for responsible and personable individuals to conduct property showings around Temple University’s campus, possibly market rentals as well (Fishtown, East Falls, Francisville).
All applicants should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate a high level of dependability to ensure they can service each of the appointments they are scheduled for. Additionally, having a reliable car is mandatory, as it is essential for applicants to travel to various locations promptly and efficiently
Responsibilities will also include operating and creating Matterport 3D virtual tours and taking video walkthrough tours of apartments for our online marketing materials.
Students are expected to complete a pre-appointment checklist for their daily schedule, guide prospective tenants from one property to the next, and log meaningful feedback via their agent portal so that our sales team has the opportunity to convert leads into leases.
Showing appointments are scheduled in half-hour increments to provide ultimate flexibility between classes for student agents. The Leasing Agent is not responsible for lead generation, prospect follow ups or lease paperwork.
JBMP receives hundreds of rental inquires on a weekly basis and students will have ample opportunity to work as little or as much hours as they choose.
It is important for agents to work a minimum of 10 hours per week and 2 weekend shifts per month. Experience in customer service-based roles is a positive. This role is a part-time position for the Spring 2025 semester, with the possibility of turning into a full-time internship for the summer.
