Description 

Mativ is currently searching for a Market Development intern to join our Marketing team next summer. This intern position is a great opportunity to get exposure to different global business processes and Mativ management.  We are looking for a curious and driven intern with a basic understanding of marketing and business development principles.

The Mativ Summer Internship Program is scheduled to start on May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025. Our paid internship offers a well-rounded experience including: meaningful work, dedicated intern manager, community service, professional development and more.

Responsibilities

In this position, the intern will report into the Sr Product Manager and have an opportunity to be a part of the Sustainable and Adhesive Solutions segment. Key responsibilities in this role include: 

  • Organize baseline price, sales trends and margin information
  • Analyze product costing to identify opportunities for optimization through the value chain
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify key insights and trends.
  • Support the development of strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights.
  • Assess competitive landscape to inform insights and recommendations.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the quality of insights delivered.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or a related major.
  • Minimum GPA-3.0.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills with willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Ideal candidates will possess high initiative and drive, with a curiosity to perpetually learn and improve our business.
  • Key requirements include the ability to analyze information to find opportunities, effectively communicate, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
