Lundquist Duck Guide
Lundquist Admissions Office Duck Guide and Office Assistant
Duck Guides Program Overview
Duck Guides was established in 2013 as a group of highly trained student representatives for the Lundquist College of Business. Duck Guides serve as student ambassadors who promote the Business Administration and Accounting majors. Members of this program provide information sessions and tours of the College of Business to prospective students and families. Duck Guides are representatives of the entire college and University of Oregon, and it is an honor to be chosen to participate in this program.
Guides enhance their public speaking, leadership, and interpersonal skills; as well as gain experience mentoring and providing and receiving feedback. Through training and collaboration with other Guides, members gain a deeper understanding of the Lundquist College of Business and all the services, programs, and activities available in the college. Participation requires a commitment to the tour shifts, training, and other special events; along with a commitment to professionalism and respect for the image of the University of Oregon and Lundquist College of Business.
The goals of the program include:
- Introduce prospective students and families, newly admitted freshman and transfer students, and Donors and VIPs to the Lundquist College of Business
