Assembler
Position: Assembler
We're seeking part-time or full-time Assembly team members to join our Production team. The Assembly Team helps to quality check and assemble products for inventory and order fulfillment. Applicants should be highly detail-oriented and able to stand for long periods. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, product quality inspection, product packaging, binding, and assembling products. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for detail, interested in and excited about Moglea products. The ideal candidate should be interested in optimizing production processes while working quickly.
Our Company:
Moglea was launched in 2012 and is under the creative direction of Chad and Meg Gleason. Their artful stationery and product line is created by using hand-applied production processes to add one-of-a-kind elements to each product. The production team in their Des Moines, Iowa-based studio thoughtfully applies layers of paint to extra thick sheets of paper before cutting them down, yielding completely unique compositions. Each piece is finished on one of their antique presses where it is foil stamped, printed, or die cut using traditional letterpress printing processes.
The Moglea line is a joyful exploration of composition, pattern, and color. For each new release, Chad and Meg intentionally focus on adding unexpected production processes or visual ideas to the current collection. The result is a product line in which each piece feels like a work of art that is meant to be shared.
The Moglea line is sold worldwide, with placement in over 1000 stores. The line is also sold nationwide by retailers such as Anthropologie, West Elm, CB2, Nordstrom and Dick Blick Art Materials.
