Business Development Training Internship
Job Description
Boston Event Guide is seeking determined recent college grads looking to become Business Development Training interns to join our sales team as we grow and develop. This person must have a comfort level with reaching out to prospects and be ready to take part in a sales training program to develop their skills.
You will gain valuable experience in a training program selling to vendors, creating partnerships and many other aspects of business development. You will be mentored on the different aspects of sales and finding clients to partner with. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to build their resume in sales and business development. You will have the chance to learn to execute sales all on your own and develop an extensive sales portfolio. You will help us find new clients to sell our event planning/ staffing services to.
This role provides the chance to work into a full-time position.
You will get hands-on experience with clients selling fun events and marketing initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research and develop relationships with new clients to utilize our event planning/ staffing services
- Build new sponsorship, vendors, and groups sales for current events
- Drive new corporate event planning and marketing sales
- Research/outreach to new sponsors & corporate event planning relationships
- Maintain existing business communication
- Close new business to achieve goals
- Learn new ways to develop and expand our partnership lists
This is an internship for those looking to gain valuable hands-on-field-experience and add to their resume. Credit/co-op programs are available and this internship could lead to full time employment.
*If you are able to make any sales during your internship, you will receive commissions for those.
