Land Acquisition Analyst
ACRUVA Community Developers (“ACRUVA”) is seeking a Land Acquisition Analyst to
join our team working from our Deerfield Beach, FL office. ACRUVA is expanding its
Affordable Housing multifamily portfolio across the country by acquiring new land for
development opportunities. You will search for available land suitable for Affordable
Housing multifamily developments, analyze information, and ensure each transaction
meets ACRUVA’s parameters. This position reports to the Vice President of Acquisitions
and is instrumental in the growth and success of our business. The ideal candidate has
strong academic finance experience combined with analytical skills and understanding of
real estate market supply and demand factors.
Key Responsibilities
• Site selection: Locate favorable sites for future development projects throughout
strategic markets.
• Confirm geographic location preference (QCT, SADDA, GAO, etc.) site proximity
scoring, and utility connections.
• Support senior staff with all terms of property acquisitions; work closely with legal,
development, architectural, third-party professionals, and financial teams in the due
diligence process.
• In-depth research of and communication with local jurisdictions of authority, relevant
to project development.
• Identify development standards, development impact fees and land use processes to
determine project viability.
• Review sites to determine viability, cost, zoning requirements, local ordinance and
acceptability to the company and lenders.
Requirements
• Minimal Land Acquisition experience
• 4-Year bachelor’s degree (finance, real estate preferred) required.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Display strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to gather
information, conduct analyses, and present findings.
• Frequent interactions with internal and external contacts of all levels of authority and
responsibility.
• Demonstrates ability to work within cross-functional teams, in a support role.
• Self-directed problem solver, takes initiative, proactively addresses problems; can work
with minimal oversight once familiar with job requirements.
• Highly organized and flexible; with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet
deadlines, often with frequent interruptions and changing circumstances, in a high
volume, fast-paced work environment.
Compensation: Starting Salary: $58,000-$66,000 per year base.
