Voice Up Publishing is on a mission to transform the lives of youth, teens, and adolescents involved in the criminal justice system by creating a new, Bible-based family court alternative. This initiative aims to provide young individuals with an opportunity to rediscover their purpose and chart new career pathways grounded in redemption, forgiveness, and faith.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Law Attorney Intern to collaborate directly with the founder of Voice Up Publishing. This unique internship offers unparalleled flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by bridging the gap between family courts, faith-based organizations, and communities to support youth at a critical juncture in their lives.

Position Overview

As a Family Law Attorney Intern, you will work alongside Voice Up Publishing’s leadership to establish partnerships with judges, family courts, and faith-based organizations. You will help develop pilot projects that showcase how Voice Up Publishing’s innovative, Bible-based support programs can serve as a restorative alternative to traditional family court systems. Through collaboration with churches, nonprofits, and regional organizations, you will play a pivotal role in forming a united voice advocating for our youth.

Primary Responsibilities

Legal and Strategic Collaboration

Partner with the founder of Voice Up Publishing to design and promote a new family court alternative.

Research and develop pilot project frameworks to demonstrate the effectiveness of Voice Up’s Bible-based programs for youth in the justice system.

Provide legal insights and recommendations for creating restorative justice pathways grounded in forgiveness and redemption.


Partnership Development

Build relationships with judges and family court representatives to explore opportunities for implementing Voice Up Publishing’s programs.

Collaborate with local and regional churches, faith-based organizations, and nonprofits to mobilize support for the initiative.

Facilitate partnerships that align with Voice Up’s mission to form a united, faith-driven coalition advocating for youth.


Program Development and Implementation

Assist in crafting the legal and structural components of pilot projects tailored to youth in the criminal justice system.

Develop communication materials and proposals for presenting the initiative to family courts, community leaders, and potential partners.

Engage in outreach efforts to ensure the initiative is inclusive, accessible, and impactful.


Community Engagement

Foster collaboration between family courts, faith-based communities, and nonprofit organizations.

Advocate for culturally sensitive and spiritually enriching support programs that resonate with diverse populations.

Promote redemption-focused opportunities that enable youth to explore meaningful career pathways.

Minimum Qualifications

Current law student or recent law graduate who has passed the bar exam (more experienced legal professionals are welcome to apply).

Strong passion for serving youth and addressing systemic issues within the family court and criminal justice systems.

Interest in restorative justice, faith-based initiatives, and community collaboration.

Exceptional communication, research, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently in a fully remote and flexible environment.
