JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Responsible for supporting OMC computer application systems.  Includes analysis and input on system selection, product upgrades, problem analysis and resolution.  Responsible for working with the departmental customer and application vendor.  Responsible for documentation, establishing procedures, system backup and recovery process.  Recommends standards of operations and coordinates activities and projects with other Information Services (IS) and OMC staff. 

 

EDUCATION

Associate’s Degree in Information Systems, or Healthcare field desired. Work experience, certifications and specialized training may be considered in lieu of degree.

 

EXPERIENCE

(I) Two years of experience with application analysis and support of enterprise-level systems, preferably in a healthcare setting.  A combination of education and experience may be considered. 

 

(II) Four years of experience with application analysis and support of enterprise-level systems, preferably in a healthcare setting.  A combination of education and experience may be considered.  Proven skills and demonstrated success with managing complex projects, working independently, performing above expectations, and meeting standards of professional conduct and behavior.

 

Prefer candidate to have experience in EHR (Electronic Health Record) and HIE (Health Information Exchange) system support, and/or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system support.
