Visual Communications Instructor

ONC BOCES is accepting applications for a Visual Communications Instructor

We seek a dedicated and experienced Visual Communications Instructor to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to nurture and develop the talents of students passionate about art, graphics, and technology, preparing them for successful careers in the commercial arts.

The Visual Communications program allows students to explore various facets of visual communication, including digital art, photography, video production, animation, and the creation of logos, graphics, websites, and video games. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding students through these diverse areas and fostering their creativity and technical skills.

BOCES will assist the successful candidate with certification requirements.

Minimum of four years of industry experience in comprehensive artistic design, including text and imagery in advertising.

Proficiency in photography, videography, and the use of relevant software and technology to support learning.

Strong strategic thinking and collaboration skills.

A commitment to innovation and enhancing student outcomes and lifelong learning.

Starting Base Salary: $46,159
Plus $525 per year of experience
Plus $45 per graduate credit
Plus $1,050 per master’s degree
