  Job Summary:
The Instructional Coach partners with teachers and building administrators to support student learning.  The primary role of the Instructional Coach is to provide job-embedded professional learning opportunities in a collaborative, supportive environment.  The Instructional Coach is a certified, highly qualified teacher who demonstrates leadership skills and has expertise in curriculum, instructional strategies, classroom management, and adult learning theory.  This position is available for the 2025-2026 school year.
 

Qualifications:

  • Current and Valid State of Illinois Professional Educator License with a Self-Contained General Education and/or required endorsement for grade level;
  • Five or more years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level preferred;
  • Knowledge of adult learning processes and strategies;
  • Demonstrated facilitation experience in providing adult professional development preferred;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills required;
  • Knowledge of the process of educational change;
  • Strong communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.


 Salary and Benefits:

  • Starting salary of $49,029; (Please click the link to view the current (salary schedule);
  • Salary is commensurate with education and experience;
  • Qualified candidates may be granted up to twenty years of verified full-time teaching experience for credit on the salary schedule;
