Propane Operations and Engineering Intern

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Propane Product Line for a Propane Operations & Engineering Intern. The individual in this role will be expected to work with our propane terminal locations and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency & reduce shrink in terminal operations.
  • Review facility PIDs and operating procedures and complete redline markups.
  • Analyze supply and demand forecasts at terminal locations to guide changes to supply plans.
  • Review maintenance program & determine gaps in program.
  • Review & maintain operational technology (OT) databases.
  • Support operations with rail logistics & inventory software.
  • Support EHS efforts to maintain and improve facility safety.
  • Support CHS Energy Equipment on customer’s equipment projects by providing technical guidance.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.


Minimum Qualifications (required)
Currently enrolled in Agriculture, Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or other related engineering degree program.

 

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
