Lillie B’s House (LBH) is a mother-daughter-owned holistic wellness, creative arts, and storytelling center. We offer services such as spiritual and life coaching, Reiki, creative workshops, and cultural storytelling programs, including The Nanny Project, a performing arts-based initiative, that celebrates Black American and multicultural family legacies. Rooted in ancestral wisdom and the creative arts, LBH creates welcoming spaces for individuals and communities to heal, grow, and thrive.
Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.
Position Overview We are seeking a Social Media and Marketing Intern to support Lillie B’s House in building its online presence, promoting programs, and engaging with the community. As an intern, you will work closely with LBH’s Artistic Director, an award-winning multidisciplinary artist, to create and implement impactful social media strategies. This role is ideal for community college students with an interest in digital marketing, social media management, and creative industries.

Responsibilities
- Content Creation and Scheduling:
- Design engaging posts for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn using tools like Canva.
- Assist with writing captions and creating hashtags aligned with LBH’s brand and mission.
- Schedule posts using social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite).
- Marketing Campaigns:
- Assist in planning and implementing campaigns to promote LBH services, events, and programs like The Nanny Project.
- Design flyers, graphics, and digital ads for online and local outreach.
- Collaboration : Work alongside the Artistic Director to align social media content with LBH’s artistic vision. ○ Capture and highlight creative workshops and storytelling programs led by the founders
- Community Engagement: ○ Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on LBH’s social media platforms. ○ Engage with followers and grow the online community.
- Analytics and Reporting: ○ Track social media metrics, including reach, engagement, and follower growth. ○ Provide monthly reports with insights and recommendations for improvement. ●
- Research and Strategy:
- ○ Research social media trends and best practices for small businesses and wellness/arts organizations. ○ Brainstorm creative ideas to increase LBH’s visibility and engagement.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a community college or equivalent program.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools is a plus.
- Strong written communication skills and creative mindset.
- Interest in holistic wellness, creative arts, or cultural storytelling is a bonus.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Time Commitment
- 100 hours total, Summer 2025
- Flexible schedule; approximately 4–5 hours per week.

Program Requirements
- Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
- Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
- Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
- Must have a declared major on record
This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
