SIP 2025 -Student Intern (West) at Tri-C Office of Academic Success
The office of Academic Success has oversight of Adjunct Services, Learning Commons, Library, Tutoring, Testing, and other academic support services. The department supports the retention efforts of the Western Campus.
Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Assist the office staff with student outreach, data entry, basic clerical support, and special projects.
- Acquire an understanding of academic support service areas.
- Customer service skills, time management skills and the ability to work in an office setting. Welcome and direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and copying.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Satisfactorily completed Financial Accounting (ACCT-1311) and/or satisfactorily completed Managerial Accounting (ACCT-1341)
- Developing skills related to Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (oral & written)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Organizational and time-management skills

Program Requirements
- Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
- Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
- Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
- Must have a declared major on record
This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
