Sales & Marketing Intern for CPG Start-up

This internship offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a fast-paced social enterprise and gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and business development. 

 

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Intern to help build out and scale the NŌK CHOC Fundraising platform. Over the course of 10 weeks, you’ll work closely with the leadership team to identify new customers, refine sales strategies, and directly contribute to the expansion of our customer base. This internship is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales, social impact, and innovative fundraising solutions. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation: Research and identify target schools, sports teams, and organizations that align with our fundraising platform. 
  2. Outreach: Develop and execute outreach campaigns through email, phone, and social media to connect with potential clients. 
  3. Customer Relationship Management: Use CRM tools to track leads, follow-ups, and conversions. 
  4. Sales Support: Assist in creating pitch decks, sales scripts, and marketing materials tailored to prospective clients. 
  5. Market Analysis: Conduct research to understand the fundraising needs of target customers and recommend enhancements to the platform. 
  6. Customer Onboarding: Support new clients in setting up and launching their fundraising campaigns. 
  7. Feedback Collection: Gather insights from clients to improve the user experience and functionality of the platform. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate, with a focus in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related fields. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Passionate about social impact and community building. 
  • Experience with CRM tools (preferred, but not required). 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting. 

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with market research tools or databases. 
  • Familiarity with fundraising. 
  • Passion for social impact and sustainable business practices.
