Police Officers
The City of Chaska is recruiting for patrol officers. Chaska is in Carver County and home to nearly 30,000 residents. As the city continues to grow, construction is underway on a new public safety facility, which is expected to open in the fall of 2025.
The Police Officer preserves safety and wellbeing in the City of Chaska by enforcing laws and ordinances, responding to calls for service, and committing to CPD’s culture of community policing.
Signing bonus of $5,000: $2,000 paid after successful completion of field training and $3,000 after completion of the 12-month probationary period.
- Salary and Benefits highlights:
Starting wage between $40.26-$49.53 per hour (2025 wages), depending upon qualifying experience.
Lateral candidates may be eligible for 40-hours paid personal leave upon starting employment, higher rate of paid personal leave accrual, and higher base wage.
Longevity incentives available after 4, 8, 12, and 16 years of employment with the city.
