24-25 High School Operations Coordinator

Reporting structures: 

The High School Operations Coordinator will report to the High School Principal. The High School Operations Coordinator will work in collaboration with the High School Principal and Assistant Principal to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the school and daily instruction.

Position Description:

The High School Operations Coordinator serves as the main lead in numerous functional areas to ensure the smooth daily operation of the High School. The High School Operations Coordinator will work directly with teachers working with teachers[1]  on absences, test administration, budget management, and technology systems while innovating operational systems and processes[2] . The Operations Coordinator will also oversee [3] and plan school wide events. The Operations Coordinator will serve as a role model of mature Christian faith for our students and their families. This is a 12-month role.

Critical to the role is the ability to manage many priorities simultaneously and operate in a quick and efficient manner.  Performance responsibilities under the direction of the building principal include but are not limited to:

Teacher Absence Coordination:

●        Work with teachers on absences to coordinate class coverage daily

 

Test Administration: 

●        Assist in the coordination of district and state testing

●        Train staff and communicate testing protocols and norms

 

Budget Management: 

●        In partnership with the High School Principal, receive and approve budgetary requests

●        Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure all materials are tracked

 

Event Coordination:

●      Plan and communicate logistics for all school events including: staff events, retreats, chapels, parent/teacher conferences, field trips

●      Be the point of contact for all events and follow established protocols

 

Technology Management: 

●        Serve as the liaison between the High School team and the IT department

●        Coordinate and track student Chromebook roll out

●        Manage online learning system integrations. Experience preferred in Clever, Schoology, Google, and PowerSchool.[4] 

 

Required Qualifications:

●        A belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to ensure excellence for each student

●        Experience with Google tools and learning management systems

●        Active membership and participation in a local church

●        Effective oral and written communication skills; preference would be given to Spanish bilingual candidates

●        Team player committed to the St. Augustine Preparatory mission and model

●        Lastly and most important, the candidate must demonstrate and possess the highest integrity and be able to live the values and culture of St. Augustine Preparatory School
